Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • I am an In-Network provider with UnitedHealthcare. I do not take other forms of insurance at this time. If your plan has out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide you with a monthly superbill (detailed receipt) for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

  • Most clients attend weekly or bi-weekly therapy sessions. We will discuss your schedule needs and treatment recommendations when you begin therapy and as changes arise.

  • My self-pay rate is $130 for a 53-60 minute session. Additional services and their rates are clearly outlined in the initial paperwork that you will be asked to sign before your first session.

  • If you cannot attend your scheduled appointment, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late-cancellation fee of $80. If you fail to show up to your appointment without any notice, you will be responsible for the full session fee. This fee will be billed directly to you, as insurance will not cover missed session fees. Emergencies, illnesses, and accidents are often unavoidable; therefore, your therapist may waive the missed session fee one time per calendar year for any reason. After that one time, any future missed sessions will be billed to you no matter the reason the session was missed. The missed session fee will be billed to your credit card on file at the time of your missed session or is due on or before your next scheduled appointment.

  • You can pay for sessions using debit and credit cards as well as FSA/HSA funds. Payment is due at the time of service.
